Lifting - Pulling - Tensioning

Lifting devices have been used since the beginning of human development as indispensable helpers. They ensure that loads can be lifted comfortably and moved over short distances. Modern lifting devices rely on the support of electric motors, while earlier versions have delevered the human tractive force. Even today, there are still some models where this principle comes into play. In this case, the applied force is increased by means of cable pulls and deflection pulleys in order to be able to transport loads which a single human being alone can not move at all. Different lifting devices are used for different purposes.

Kinds of lifting devices:

The heaviest loads are to be moved with lifting devices in the form of cranes. At the same time, however, this is also the most encompassing way of transporting objects using lifting technology. In addition to construction sites, it is therefore primarily used in fixed installations at industrial companies and loading stations. For use in craft enterprises or also in the private sector, hoisting machines based on the principle of of a pulley are preferred, which are preferably used. Their advantage lies above all in the wide range of application fields ranging from the motor vehicle sector to the logistics sector. Pulley hoists are available in different sizes and are designed according to the model to different maximum weights as stress values. In this way, the most suitable lifting device can be found in the form of a pulley.

In addition to cranes and pulleys, lifting devices also include lever pulls and hand winches. Important accessories for hoists include carrier clamps, deflection pulleys, traction force measuring devices, crane scales and lifting magnets.

The processing of modern lifting devices:

High-quality lifting technology is characterized by a robust quality and the highest demands on material and manufacturing processes. High-strength steel, galvanized components and precisely adjusted rolling gear units also form the basis of the hoists as well as modern safety elements such as, for example, chain unions. Since working with lifting devices in some cases imposes considerable loads on the lifting tools due to high weights, each individual component of a lifting system must have an absolutely high-quality processing.

Our offers in the field of lifting equipment include spur gear units, mechanical lifting devices and manually operated hoists as well as extensive equipment for lifting devices.

Lifting Devices & UVV-Inspections:

In order to avoid dangers arising e.g. through wear and tear during regular use, lifting devices

are to be inspected at least annually according to the DGUV regulation 54 .
